How important is a slow speed juicer compared to fast speed?
Jesse's Answer:
The first juicer I ever had only had 1 speed... fast.
So how important is it to have a juicer with slow and fast speeds? Well, it's nice but not mandatory.
If your budget allows you to buy a juicer with high and low speeds, then it's worth considering. But if your budget only allows you to buy a one speed juicer, then that's okay.
There are always tricks or ways to juice vegetables that are best juicedat slow speeds using high speeds such as wrapping the vegetables inother vegetables... or combining the slow speed vegetables in betweentwo high speed vegetables.
Most masticating juicers that I am aware of only have one speed and it is generally speaking, a slower speed than a centrifugal juicer. But as a masticating juicer literally squishes the juice out of the vegetables, a slower speed is better and only one speed is really needed.
Have you been wanting to do hatha yoga (stretching) but have found it either too difficult or you are not that flexible? If yes, and even if no, watch Jesse do some pure hatha yoga routines.
Unlike flow yoga
, each pose in pure or traditional hatha yoga is held for a few minutes. While holding the pose, you focus the mind on the stretch. When you focus the mind, that's when you find silence.
Jesse is not flexible — never has been and probably never will be flexible like others. But it doesn't matter. In pure hatha yoga, how flexible you are makes no difference. It's all about loving the pose and focussing the mind on the stretch.
If you want to learn pure hatha yoga, now you can by following Jesse on a series of hatha yoga routines.
